The cat at Abney Park Cemetery

Why should Abney be any different. Cats love cemeteries, particularly Victorian ones. Maybe it is because they can just wander, alone through the undergrowth. With a warm stone to lie on and sit in the sun, maybe it is the peace and quiet? But a cemetery with a cat is a good sign, because cats like human contact, even if they run away from it.
Ever since I visited Highgate, even before Audrey Niffenegger's  Her Fearful Symmetry, I have associated cemeteries with cats. Cats and yew trees, ever watchful, ever present.
